Fire crews tackle commercial blaze in Tonbridge

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire in a commercial property on Wheelbarrow Park Estate in Tonbridge. Two fire engines were sent to the scene and crews arrived to find heavy smoke coming from a room at the rear of the building. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered at the back of the property and used a hose reel jet to tackle the blaze. The cause is believed to be accidental as a result of an electrical fault.
