Fire crews called to rubbish job at Bethnal Green Police station

Fire crews have been called to Bethnal Green Police station on Victoria Park Square in East London. Appliances rushed to the scene after a rubbish truck caught alight in the rear yard. Crews were called to the rubbish job just after 4pm on Monday afternoon. The private contractors truck caught alight after it has just made a collection from the station. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using two hose reels to tackle the fire.
