Fire crews called to pub fire in Fareham

Fire fighters from Fareham, Portchester and Southsea have been mobilsed to a blaze in at The Crown pub in Fareham this morning. The appliances from three stations were mobilsed. Just before 8am on Saturday following reports of some issuing from the basement of the watering hole. The fire, which was located in the cellar, was out on arrival of the service. Crews used a thermal imaging camera to make sure the fire hadn’t spread. Crews also used a fan to help clear the smoke logged basement. Dispite the fire the pub is open for business as usual.
