Emergency services have been called to Cole Close, after a garden fire rapidly spread to multiple gardens and a property.

Incident Details

The London Fire Brigade received reports of the blaze and dispatched four fire engines to the scene following initial reports that the fire had started in a garden and subsequently spread to neighboring gardens and a residential property.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are actively working to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading further. Eyewitnesses reported seeing thick smoke rising from the affected area, with flames visible from nearby streets.

Local residents have been advised to keep windows and doors closed due to the heavy smoke. There have been  reports of injuries and one person being treated by Paramedics from the London Ambulance service

It is not yet clear what sparked the fire, but fire investigators are expected to examine the scene once it is deemed safe.

Local police have also been called to assist with traffic control and public safety.
