Fire Crew called to tackle Van fire at New Forest Campsite

Fire crews tackled this van fire at a New Forest Campsite this afternoon. They had to ask the neighbours to mooove out of the way whilst they made the area and the vehicle safe. At around 6pm on Sunday , August 20 a fire crew from Burley fire station was called to a van fire on the Holmsley Campsite. Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and the crews returned to station by 6.30pm. The cause of the fire is yet to be established.
