Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a fatal road traffic incident on the A34 southbound this morning.

Details of the Incident

At 7:47 am, officers were called to the scene between Kings Worthy and Winnall after reports that a tree had fallen onto a car.

  • The driver of a black Mercedes E350, a man in his 60s, was tragically confirmed deceased at the scene. His family has been informed and is being supported by officers.
  • A silver Skoda Kodiaq was also damaged in the incident, though no other injuries were reported.
