Man Found Deceased on Quiet Blackheath Road, Investigation Underway

In Epsom, a murder investigation is underway following the tragic discovery of a 47-year-old man deceased at a home, leading to the arrest of a 44-year-old individual. Surrey Police, responding to concerns for the man’s welfare, arrived at an Eleanor Avenue property around 9 pm on February 7, where the man was declared deceased. The deceased’s relatives have been notified and are receiving support from the police.

The arrested Epsom resident is being held on murder charges as investigations proceed under the guidance of Surrey and Sussex Police’s Major Crime Team. DCI Craig Emmerson stated that the probe is in its initial phase, emphasizing that this appears to be a solitary incident without broader public risk.
