Emergency Services Respond to Suspected Acid Attack at Turnpike Lane Underground Station

 

Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service, Metropolitan Police, and the London Fire Brigade, rushed to Turnpike Lane Underground Station following reports of a suspected acid attack. The incident occurred just before Midnight on Green Lanes, Hornsey, London.

A male victim is believed to have had a substance sprayed into his face. Authorities are treating it as a potential acid attack, and paramedics are currently attending to the victim’s injuries. The severity of the injuries is not yet known.

The London Fire Brigade has deployed units to assess the scene and ensure it is safe for the public. Police officers have cordoned off the area surrounding Turnpike Lane station as they investigate the nature of the substance used and search for the suspect involved.

Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the attack or has information to come forward. Commuters are advised to avoid the station and seek alternative transport routes as emergency services manage the scene.
