A significant police presence was seen on Bromford Lane today after West Midlands Police responded to reports of a disorder shortly after midday on Sunday 6th October 2024.

Officers arrived at the scene and discovered two men with head injuries. The injured men were treated by paramedics before being transported to the hospital for further care.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of wounding as part of the ongoing investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident. Police have launched house-to-house inquiries and are reviewing CCTV footage from the area.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police stated: “We were called to reports of a disorder in Bromford Lane at just after midday today (Sunday). Officers attended and found two men with head injuries, who were treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital. Two men have been arrested on suspicion of wounding as investigations get underway to establish exactly what has happened.”
