Emergency Services Respond to Incident at Humber Bridge

On September 7, 2025, at 9.05pm, emergency services responded to an incident at the Humber Bridge where they were alerted to a person who had fallen. This incident prompted an immediate launch of rescue operations.

Rescue Operations Underway

Independent lifeboat station Humber Rescue, located near the Humber Bridge, along with the RNLI’s Humber Lifeboat Station in Grimsby, responded to the situation. Both organisations are equipped to handle emergencies in the area 24/7.

Humber Rescue operates directly from england/the-bridge/”>the bridge, while the RNLI station is situated on the bank/”>south bank, close to Grimsby. A large-scale search and rescue operation was initiated, which includes a helicopter circling the area.

We have reached out to the Humber Coastguard and the Humberside Police for statements.
