In the early hours of Tuesday morning, emergency services were called to the corner of  Waddon Road, Croydon, after a vehicle reportedly ploughed into the wall of a building. The incident, rsaw firefighters from the London Fire Brigade arriving promptly to extricate those involved from the wreckage.

According to initial reports, the impact completely demolished the affected wall. Paramedics on the scene provided treatment to the individuals involved, who are now reported to have sustained only minor injuries. Despite the dramatic nature of the crash and significant property damage to the wall, authorities confirmed that no one appears to have been seriously harmed.

The investigation into the circumstances leading up to the incident is ongoing, and local officials are urging anyone with further information to come forward.

Meanwhile, residents in the area are advised to expect temporary disruptions as emergency services and repair crews work to secure the site.

The road was blocked for a short time but has since reopened.
