Emergency services called to distressed man on a roof in Folkestone

Emergency service have been called to a man in distress on the roof of a shopping centre in the centre of Folkestone.

Police,Fire and a HART team from South East Coast ambulance were called just before 10.30am on Monday.

A cordon has been established and the publics have been asked to clear the area.  Specialist officers are understood to be engaging with the man.

 

A spokesman for Kent Police say they were called at 10:30am to Bouverie Place, following concern for a man in distress on the roof of a building. Police have now sealed off an area at the side of Boots with scaffolding outside.
