Elderly pedestrian seriously hurt in Ashford collision

Officers investigating a serious collision in Ashford are appealing for witnesses including those with dashcam footage to come forward. An 82-year-old pedestrian suffered serious head injuries in the incident on the A28 Chart Road that also involved a blue Volkswagen Golf. He was airlifted to a London hospital following the collision, which happened shortly after 12.30pm on Tuesday 10 July 2018.
