Durham Police Seek Two Men After Quadbike Collision Leaves Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Darlington

Durham Police have launched an urgent appeal for help in identifying two men involved in a serious quadbike collision in Darlington that left a pedestrian with severe injuries.

Collision on Neasham Road

The incident occurred at 4:40 PM on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, on Neasham Road, when two red quadbikes collided with a white Renault Clio, a pedestrian, and a house wall.

The Renault Clio was attempting to turn right into Lewes Road when the quadbikes crashed into it, striking a pedestrian before hitting a wall.

Suspects Fled the Scene

Instead of staying at the scene, the quadbike riders immediately fled, leaving the injured pedestrian behind.

Durham Police are now working to track down the two men responsible and are calling on witnesses to come forward.

Public Appeal for Witnesses and Footage

Investigators are particularly keen to hear from anyone who:

  • Saw the collision take place
  • Has CCTV or dashcam footage from Neasham Road or surrounding areas around the time of the crash
  • Recognizes the description of the two red quadbikes
