Police have seized suspected heroin and crack cocaine after the arrest of two men near Ashford town centre. The incident occurred on Monday, 7 October 2024, when officers in the Jemmet Road area became aware of a man behaving suspiciously. The man was observed entering a car with a second individual, prompting further investigation.
Officers detained both men after a search revealed what are believed to be class-A drugs and multiple mobile phones. Acting on initial enquiries, police searched a nearby property, which led to the discovery of a large quantity of drug wraps and drying cannabis plants.
