Drug charges have been authorised after Kent Police’s County Line and Gang Team stopped a vehicle travelling in Gillingham.

 

Drug charges have been authorised after Kent Police’s County Line and Gang Team stopped a vehicle travelling in Gillingham.

 

The car was stopped in Pearl Way at around 1pm on Wednesday 19 August 2020 and a quantity of heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis is reported to have been found during subsequent enquiries.

 

Rilwan Shinaba has since been charged with possessing heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply and an additional count of possessing cannabis.

 

The 25-year-old, of Strickland Road, Belvedere, appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday 21 August.

 

At the hearing, he was remanded in custody and will next appear at the same court on Saturday 29 August.
