The London Ambulance Service rushed to Plumstead Road at 9.30am this morning (October 23) after reports of a man in distress.
Rapid Response to Emergency Call
An ambulance crew, paramedics in fast response cars, and an incident response officer were all dispatched immediately. The first responders reached the scene within three minutes of the call.
Tragic Outcome at Scene
Unfortunately, despite their swift action, the male patient was pronounced dead at the scene.
Official Statement from Ambulance Service
“We were called at 9.30am today (23 October) to reports of a person unwell at the junction of Maxey Road and Plumstead Road, SE18. We sent resources, including an ambulance crew, paramedics in fast response cars and an incident response officer. Our first paramedics arrived on scene in less than three minutes. Very sadly, despite the best efforts of our crews, a man was pronounced dead at the scene.”
