Disqualified Driver Caught After Police Stop in Midway

A disqualified driver was caught in Midway after police stopped his vehicle during proactive patrols.

PC Holmes-Small pulled over a Skoda on Springfield Road after being alerted to a police marker placed on the vehicle by West Midlands Police. However, upon checking the details of the owner and driver, officers discovered that he had recently purchased the car and was not involved in the West Midlands incident.

Despite this, further checks revealed that the driver was disqualified from driving and had no valid insurance. As a result, the vehicle was seized, and the driver has been summoned to court.

Authorities continue to urge motorists to ensure they are legally permitted to drive and have appropriate insurance coverage.
