Dashcam footage appeal following fatal M20 collision

Witnesses and dashcam footage are being sought by officers investigating a fatal collision on the M20. Kent Police was called to the Londonbound carriageway, close to junction 8, at around 1.20pm on Sunday 22 September 2019, following a collision involving a white lorry and a black motorcycle. The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s and from Yorkshire, was pronounced deceased by at the scene by ambulance crews and his next of kin have been informed. The road was temporarily closed and reopened shortly before 8pm. Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw either of the vehicles in the moments before it occurred. They are also asking drivers to check dash cams which may assist the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to call 01622 798538, quoting DS/MW/103/19.
