A cyclist who was injured in a crash near Canary Wharf on Friday morning is not believed to have suffered life-threatening or life-changing injuries, the Metropolitan Police have confirmed.
Emergency services were called to Salter Street, Poplar, shortly after 10am on April 11, following reports of a collision between a cyclist and a car.
Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service treated the woman at the scene before taking her to hospital. A LAS spokesperson noted the crash took place on Westferry Road, which intersects Salter Street near Westferry DLR station.
Salter Street was temporarily closed to traffic while emergency services responded.
The Met Police confirmed on Saturday (April 12) that the cyclist’s injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing. No arrests have been made and enquiries remain ongoing.
