Kent Fire and Rescue Service swiftly responded to reports of a crash on the M2 eastbound between Junction 6, Faversham, and Junction 7, Brenley Corner.

Three fire engines were dispatched to the scene to assist. Upon arrival, emergency crews worked diligently to extricate one person from the vehicle involved in the incident. The individual was subsequently handed over to the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) paramedics for further medical attention.

Partner agencies, including Kent Police, National Highways traffic officers, and SECAmb, collaborated seamlessly to manage the situation and ensure the safety and well-being of those involved.

Following the necessary procedures and vehicle recovery efforts, National Highways has confirmed that the road is now reopened to traffic. Earlier closures were implemented to facilitate the safe recovery of vehicles involved in the crash.

The prompt and coordinated response from emergency services and partner agencies highlights the effectiveness of collaborative efforts in managing such incidents and minimizing disruption to road users.
