Coopers School Teenager Rushed to Hospital After Medical Emergency in Chislehurst

A teenager from Coopers School in Chislehurst was rushed to the hospital following a serious medical emergency on Monday afternoon (13 May).

Emergency services were called to Hawkwood Lane, near the school, at 1.20pm after reports that a student had become unwell.

The London Ambulance Service confirmed a rapid and comprehensive response, dispatching two ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer, and London’s Air Ambulance.

A spokesperson for the service said:

“We were called at 1.20pm yesterday (13 May) to reports of a person unwell in Hawkwood Lane, Chislehurst.

We sent two ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer to the scene. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

The first paramedic arrived in less than five minutes.

We treated a teenager at the scene and took him to hospital as a priority.”

The teenager, understood to be a student at Coopers School, was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. The nature of the medical emergency has not been disclosed, and the student’s current condition remains unknown.
