Emergency services responded to an incident on Rookery Road
A person has been swiftly transported to hospital following a collision involving a cyclist and a car near Clapham Common. The incident occurred on Rookery Road at approximately 2:10 pm this afternoon, prompting a rapid response from emergency services.
The air ambulance also descended on the scene to assist. As of now, one individual has been taken to the hospital, and further updates on their condition are awaited.
The Metropolitan Police spokesperson said the collision involved a car user and a cyclist.
An LAS (London Ambulance Service) spokesperson stated: “We were called at 2:10 pm today (March 29) to reports of a road traffic collision on Rookery Road, Clapham Common. We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, and a medic in a fast-response car. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance. We treated a patient at the scene before taking them to a major trauma centre.”
