Children Injured in Eastbourne Beach Dog Attack

Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses and information after two children were injured by a dog at Eastbourne beach. The incident occurred at approximately 10:20am on Monday, May 27, near the Hollywell Café on King Edwards Parade.

Two young children were bitten by the dog and required hospital treatment for their injuries. Officers responded promptly, conducting searches in the area and deploying a drone to aid in the search.

Authorities are now releasing images of a man they wish to speak with in connection with the incident. The man is described as being around 50 years old, approximately 5’9″ tall, wearing a black T-shirt, a black long-sleeve jacket, black shorts, and dark shoes with a white sole. He was also carrying a black rucksack with a bottle of water.

Police urge anyone who witnessed the incident or recognizes the man to report it to Sussex Police online, quoting serial 404 of 27/05.
