Child Taken to Hospital After Being Hit by Car in Dartford

A child has been taken to hospital after being struck by a car in Dartford this morning (March 31).

The incident occurred just after 8.40 am in Oakfield Lane, near Hawley Road. Emergency services, including officers from Kent Police and crews from the South East Coast Ambulance Service, were called to the scene.

Upon arrival, paramedics treated the injured child before transporting them to the hospital for further medical attention. Authorities have confirmed that the child’s injuries are not life-threatening.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said:
“Kent Police were called at 8.42 am on Monday, March 31, to a collision involving a car and a child pedestrian in Oakfield Lane, Dartford.

“Officers and paramedics attended the scene where the child was treated for injuries.

“They have been taken to hospital for further medical attention.”

The circumstances surrounding the collision are currently under investigation. No further details have been released at this time.
