Child rushed to hospital after being hit by car

Emergency services have been called to St Albans Road in Havant after a school child has involved a collision. Part of the road remains cordoned off outside St Albans school following the incident that happened just before 4pm on Monday afternoon. Police and Paramedics were called by a parent after the child was hit by a vehicle. Paramedics have treated the child who has since been taken to Queen Alexandra hospital in Cosham. Officers from Hampshire Constabulary have released an appeal for witnesses and are asking people to contact them on 101 if you witnessed or captured the incident on dash cam. Anyone with information is asked to call Hampshire Police on 101.
