EMERGENCY CREWS ON SCENE Child Hurt in Crash on Loxham Road – Road Shut in Chingford

Paramedics rushed to Loxham Road at 3.30pm today (October 15) after a traffic collision involving a child.

Emergency Crews Treat Child on Scene

London Ambulance Service arrived quickly and treated a young victim before rushing him to a major trauma centre in the capital. The child’s condition remains unknown.

“We were called today (Weds) at 3.30pm to reports of a traffic collision in Loxham Road, E4,” a spokesperson said. “We sent an ambulance crew and treated a child at the scene before taking him to a London major trauma centre.”

Chingford Road Closed, Drivers Urged to Avoid Area

Nearby Chingford Road is shut to traffic between Walthamstow Avenue and Loxham Road. The closure is causing delays.

“Due to a traffic incident, Chingford Road is closed to car traffic between Walthamstow Avenue and Loxham Road,” said a London Borough of Waltham Forest spokesperson. “If you can, please avoid the area and use an alternate driving route.”
