CCTV to Be Installed at Llanrwst Bowling Club Following Successful PACT Funding Bid

A successful funding bid by Community Support Officer (CSO) Michelle has secured £250 from the PACT fund to support the installation of CCTV at Llanrwst Bowling Club, amid growing concerns about antisocial behaviour (ASB) in the area.

The funding, awarded through the Police and Community Trust (PACT), aims to improve security and reassure members of the local community following reports of nuisance behaviour in and around the club grounds.

The initiative has been welcomed by North Wales Police Llanrwst Community Team, who praised CSO Michelle’s efforts in addressing the concerns raised by local residents and club members.

A spokesperson for NWP Llanrwst Community said:

“Thanks to CSO Michelle’s hard work and the successful PACT funding application, Llanrwst Bowling Club will now benefit from enhanced security measures. The installation of CCTV will act as both a deterrent and a means of identifying individuals involved in antisocial behaviour.”

Club members and local residents have expressed their gratitude for the initiative, hoping it will create a safer and more welcoming environment for all who use the facility.

Work on the CCTV installation is expected to begin in the coming weeks.
