Caneland Central’s After Dark Program has been hailed a resounding success, bringing together local youth and community members in a safe and engaging environment.
The initiative, designed to strengthen connections with young people and provide a positive space after hours, has been met with overwhelming support from the local community.
Organisers said they’ve enjoyed getting to know local youth, answering their questions, and building meaningful relationships in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
“It’s been a fantastic opportunity to connect with the community,” organisers said. “We’ve really enjoyed the conversations and seeing so many young people get involved. The response so far has been incredible.”
The After Dark Program has not only created a space for open dialogue and engagement, but also provided a safe and social environment for young people to enjoy.
Free BBQ and Drinks Tonight
The program continues tonight, Thursday 20 March, with another evening of activities from 4pm to 9pm, including a free BBQ and drinks for all attendees.
Community members are encouraged to come along, enjoy the food, and be part of the ongoing effort to foster strong connections between local services and the public.
“Thank you to everyone who has joined us so far — we can’t wait to see you again tonight.”
