Authorities are urging the public to come forward with any information related to a recent burglary at St John the Baptist Church in Kingscote. The incident occurred between 19:00 on Thursday, June 20, and 09:00 on Friday, June 21.

According to reports, the perpetrators gained entry by smashing a leaded window. Once inside, they targeted valuable ecclesiastical silverware and a safe.

The Rural, Wildlife, and Heritage Crime Team is actively investigating the case and seeking assistance from anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area or possesses relevant dashcam or doorbell footage.
