Broadway, Bexleyheath Stabbing: 13-Year-Old Boy Hospitalised

A 13-year-old boy is in hospital after being stabbed in Bexleyheath this afternoon.

The Metropolitan Police were called to Broadway at 3:31 pm today (October 17) following reports of an incident. Officers arrived alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, where they discovered the boy with a stab wound. He was promptly taken to the hospital, and his condition is currently unknown.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and is now in police custody as investigations continue.

A crime scene remains in place as officers carry out further enquiries. The London Ambulance Service has been contacted for additional information regarding the incident.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward as they work to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
