Brighton Hit By Late-night Restaurant Burglary

Police are seeking the public’s assistance following a burglary at a restaurant on East Street in Brighton. The incident occurred on the evening of September 22, around 9:45 PM.

Responding to a call, police arrived at the scene after reports of two men hastily leaving a restaurant, which was closed at the time. The establishment is located near the far end of the East Street taxi rank. The suspects reportedly gained entry into the restaurant and stole various electronic items and stock.

The police are particularly interested in speaking with a man captured in a photograph related to the incident. They believe he may have valuable information that could aid their investigation.

Members of the public who recognize the individual in the photograph or have any relevant information are encouraged to come forward. Information can be submitted online or by calling the police at 101, citing the reference number 1439 of 21/09.
