Breakthrough Arrests Made in Washwood Heath Shooting – UKNIP

In a significant development, West Midland Police have apprehended two individuals in connection with the shooting incident that transpired on Shaw Hill Road in Washwood Heath back in April.

Following the firing of shots at a car on the fateful night of April 30, a male victim found himself hospitalised with gunshot wounds to his abdomen and leg. The incident sent shockwaves through the community, prompting an extensive investigation by law enforcement.

Late last night (October 4), a 21-year-old man was taken into custody under suspicion of attempted murder. Swiftly following this breakthrough, in the early hours of October 5, a 19-year-old man was arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit murder. Both individuals are currently detained and undergoing questioning as part of the ongoing investigation.
