Fire breaks out on eleventh floor of Southampton Tower Block

Fire Crews from St Mary,Hightown and Portchester have attended a fire in a Southampton Tower block this lunchtime.It is understood that fire broken out on the 11th floor of a Tower Block on International Way in Weston Area of city. The fire broke out in the kitchen area of the highrise and was caused by unattended cooking. Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service have said that sent a number of resources from across the city tackling the fire. Six fire crews where called to the incident including an aerial ladder platform That broken out in the 19 storey tower block that was built in the early 1960s.
