CHINGFORD COLLISION Boy, 12, Seriously Injured in Chingford Crash

Drama on Loxham Road yesterday afternoon as police and paramedics rushed to the scene after a car slammed into a 12-year-old boy.

Life-Threatening Injuries

The collision happened around 3.30pm on October 15. Emergency crews treated the boy on site before rushing him to a major trauma centre. His injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

No Arrests Yet – Police Seek Witnesses

Road Reopens After Crash

Chingford Road was shut between Walthamstow Avenue and Loxham Road following the smash. Waltham Forest Council urged drivers to avoid the area and find alternate routes. Thankfully, the road has now reopened.

Official Statements

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 3.30pm to a traffic collision on Loxham Road, E4. We treated a child at the scene before taking him to a major trauma centre.”

A Met Police spokesperson added: “Officers attended alongside the ambulance service after a car collided with a 12-year-old boy. The child remains in hospital with serious injuries.”

Waltham Forest Council warned: “Due to a traffic incident, Chingford Road was closed between Walthamstow Avenue and Loxham Road. Please avoid the area where possible.”
