Prompt emergency responses were initiated, with fire crews from Liphook and Bordon being dispatched to the scene, along with teams from South Central Ambulance and the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. The severity of the accident led to the closure of the B2070 for a significant portion of the day to facilitate thorough investigations by authorities.
