Adult star-england/”>star/”>star Bonnie Blue, aka Tia Billinger, has revealed why she hasn’t divorced her husband, Oliver Davidson, even though they have split. The childhood sweethearts married young but now live separate lives – yet remain legally tied.
Known for her jaw-dropping career in adult entertainment, Bonnie famously claims to have slept with over 1,000 men in 12 hours, a fact spotlighted in her Channel 4 documentary 1,000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story.
Oliver Backs Bonnie’s Career
In the documentary, Oliver shows strong support for Bonnie’s controversial work. He insists: “She really connects with the fans… most people, if they do porn, they seem out of reach. You’re never going to meet them. You’re never going to be able to film with them. Whereas Bonnie, she puts her location online. Then her fans can actually film with her.”
He adds, “Mainstream porn has been around a lot longer… but nothing’s really changed until this point. It’s a defining moment in porn. She’s completely changed the game.”
Why No Divorce? Convenience and Cash
Despite their split in late 2023, Bonnie and Oliver remain on good terms. On the Saving Grace podcast, Bonnie explained why they haven‘t tied up their separation legally.
“We’re on really good terms. He works for me now. He helps with some behind-the-scenes stuff. It is convenient. It’s handy for me. He’s going to get some of the money regardless. He might as well work for it,” she said.
Bonnie admits the divorce is just on the back burner because life is busy. “The divorce has been decided. So it’s more just me being lazy with that. It’s going to happen, but it’s not a ‘Oh my God, quickly, I need to get divorced.’ When I get the time, I will. But it’s not a priority.”
Family Support & Channel 4 Controversy
The documentary also dives into how Bonnie’s family reacts to her career. Her mum was initially shocked but now fully supports her.
“Would it be something that I chose for her to do, no. I was really, really shocked, but now would I want her doing anything else? No, not at all. All you want is for your kids to be happy and she is happy.”
Bonnie even funds her whole family, helping them ditch their day jobs. But the unconventional lifestyle comes with odd moments. “My mum said, every time I come in this house it’s just dildos everywhere,” Bonnie shared. “For New Year’s Eve, my family came over and I was filming in the living room. They had to be really quiet and were like, ‘When can I put the music on?’ I was in the living room just f**king myself and they had to wait in silence next door.”
The documentary’s explicit scenes sparked online outrage, with viewers slamming Channel 4 for airing hardcore content at 10pm, just days after age verification laws kicked in.
Channel 4 defended the decision, stating: “The explicit content in the documentary is editorially justified and provides essential context; making pornographic content is Bonnie’s job, and this film is about her work and the response to it. The programme was broadcast after watershed and complies with the Ofcom broadcasting code.”
