Police have confirmed that a woman’s body has been found during the search for missing 41-year-old Roxanne Roberts, who was last seen on Saturday, 9 August 2025.
Formal identification has not yet taken place, but officers say the body is believed to be that of Ms Roberts. Her family has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said:
“Officers searching for missing person Roxanne Roberts have located the body of a woman. Formal identification is yet to take place. The death is currently being treated as unexplained, and enquiries are ongoing.”
Ms Roberts, from Porthtowan, was the subject of a widespread appeal by friends, family, and missing persons charities after her disappearance. The news of her death has prompted an outpouring of condolences on social media, with many describing her as a “kind and loving soul” who will be “deeply missed.”
Police have not released further details on the circumstances surrounding her death.
