Bloodbath after stabbing at Southsea Block of Flats

Large pools of blood can been seen in the entrance lobby of the block of flats at Keelan Court, Richmond Road, Southsea. One resident who asked not to be named said that a stabbing had taken place and the person involved was rushed to hospital. Blood has been spattered across the walls and floor of block of flats with police guarding the scene today. The resident said they rushed out after being woken at around 12.30am I saw the person bleeding this morning on the landing it all lloked very serious, The police turned up and the paramedics. There is blood everywhere all over the floors and doors ‘I heard someone banging around and slamming doors and shouting about 12.30am and now we have woken to find our lovely building is a blood bath.’The block of flats is the building where body-in-the-bag killer David Hilder lived. Keelan Court, in quiet Richmond Road, has been sealed-off for the second time in four years as police investigate a bloody incident.

The block of flats has been cordoned-off by police this morning after blood was discovered sprayed all over the walls, floors, doors and elevator of the building. 30-year-old homeless man David Guy was murdered and dismembered in a flat at Keelan Court in July 2012. 47-year-old Hilder, who is serving 12-years for the murder, is said to have cycled around Southsea with his one-time friend’s decapitated head in the basket of his butchers bike. Parts of David Guy’s body were discovered on Southsea seafront at the time. Last night residents report hearing shouting, loud banging and doors slamming in the quiet neighbourhood just after 12.30am, but police are, at this time, remaining tight-lipped over the nature of the investigation.
