Four Fire Engines and Turntable Ladder Rush to Scene

Firefighters from Heywood, Chadderton, Whitefield, and Manchester Central stations sprang into action. They brought a turntable ladder from Manchester Central to tackle the flames high up on the second floor.

Firefighters Fight Blaze with Breathing Apparatus

Wearing breathing apparatus, the brave crews used hose reels to douse the fire inside the derelict flat. Their efforts swiftly brought the blaze under control and secured the area.

Firefighters remain on site this afternoon, ensuring the fire is fully extinguished and the scene is safe.
