Avon & Somerset Police Appeal for Information Following Suspected Homophobic Attack in Redcliffe

Avon & Somerset Police are appealing to the public for help in identifying three individuals connected to a suspected homophobic assault in the Redcliffe area of Bristol.

The incident occurred on Sunday, August 11, at around 10.15pm, when two men were walking along St Thomas Street and were reportedly approached by three men on bicycles. The group became aggressive, allegedly directing homophobic slurs at the victims before the situation escalated into violence.

One of the cyclists is said to have punched one of the men and then attacked him with a knife. The victim sustained a minor cut to the chest but fortunately did not require hospitalisation.
