Ashford teenagers arrested after street disturbance

Two teenage boys have been arrested as officers investigate assaults carried out during a disturbance in Ashford. The incident took place in Tennyson Road on Saturday 3 August 2019 between 4.15am and 5.30am. Officers were called to the scene where two victims, a boy in his late teens and a man in his 20s, were injured in the street. It is thought the boy was assaulted by a group of people. He was found with a leg injury along with bruises and cuts to his head and face. The second victim also suffered head injuries after he tried to intervene. On Monday 5 August 2019 two boys from Ashford, aged 15 and 16, were arrested in connection with the assaults and have subsequently been released on police bail until Thursday 29 August 2019.
