Arrest Made in Ashford Assault Investigation

An arrest has been made as Kent Police continue to investigate a serious assault in Ashford that left a man with multiple injuries.

The incident occurred on Saturday, September 28, at around 10:30 pm after the victim, a man in his thirties, left a public house on Mead Road, Willesborough. He was assaulted from behind by another man, resulting in broken bones and facial injuries. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

On the evening of Tuesday, October 1, officers arrested a 26-year-old man from Ashford on suspicion of assault. He has since been released on bail as enquiries continue.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the assault or has relevant information, including doorbell, CCTV, or dashcam footage, to come forward. Those with information are urged to call Kent Police at 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/165283/24.
