Arrest made following Folkestone assault

Officers have arrested a man following an assault in Folkestone.

Kent Police received reports at around 5.20pm on Saturday 20 April 2024 that a man had struck another man with a blunt object, near to the junction of Bradstone Road and Clarence Street.

On Monday 22 April, officers arrested a 41-year-old man on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm. He was later bailed with conditions, pending further enquiries.

The victim has not yet come forward and officers continue to appeal for anyone with relevant information to contact them, quoting reference 46/64070/24.
