Armed Police descend on to Binstead Housing Estate

Armed Police have descended on a sleepy part of Binstead Housing Estate near Ryde this evening (Tuesday). Officers from Hampshire Police arrived at Waterloo Crescent and neighbouring Wellington Road, sparking the attention of local residents. One man has been arrested by Police and Jas been taken to Newport Police station. More to follow
