Police were called at 7.38pm on Wednesday, 8 March, to reports of an assault in Harrington Hill, E5. 

Officers attended and spoke with a man who reported being sprayed with an unknown liquid. It was later established that the liquid was not of concern and the man did not require hospital treatment.

Enquiries to establish the circumstances are ongoing.
