Armed police rushed to Kings Hill in West Malling, Kent, after three men wearing balaclavas were seen scaling the roof of a disused building on Saturday evening.
Kent Police said officers were called to Tower View, Kings Hill, at 3.31pm on Saturday, 16 August, following reports of a disturbance inside the premises.
Several armed units, police dogs, and emergency vehicles attended, with photos shared on social media showing masked individuals standing on top of the building. Dozens of local residents gathered nearby to watch as the operation unfolded.

A Kent Police spokesperson confirmed:
“Officers attended the scene where three people were found to have climbed to the roof of the building. Three men have since been arrested on suspicion of burglary. They remain in custody pending further enquiries.”
The dramatic response, which continued into the night, saw parts of Tower View sealed off as police dealt with the situation. Witnesses reported “a ton of armed police and police dogs” surrounding the site, with locals describing the incident as “like something out of a film.”
The men, who were dressed in black and had their faces covered, were safely brought down from the building before being taken into custody.
Police confirmed no injuries were reported during the incident, and enquiries remain ongoing.
