Police are urgently appealing for help to locate a 34-year-old man who went on leave from a south west London hospital three days ago and has failed to return.
Aiden, who was last seen by staff at Springfield University Hospital in Tooting at 2:23pm on Tuesday, 22 April, has not been seen since. Officers are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
Detective Constable Samuel Chell, who is leading the investigation, said:
“We are increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of Aiden who went on unescorted leave from Springfield University Hospital but failed to return.
We’re appealing to the public to please look out for him and help us find him.”
Aiden is described as 6ft 6ins tall, of slim build, and was last seen wearing a black and brown hooded tracksuit with grey boots. He may also be wearing a distinctively patterned multi-coloured hat.
Police believe there was a potential sighting of Aiden in the Sutton and Cheam area yesterday. He is also known to frequent the Southbank area of central London.
The public are urged not to approach Aiden if they see him, but instead to call police immediately.
Anyone with information or sightings is asked to call 101 quoting reference 7628/22Apr.
