Appeal for Witnesses Following GBH in Swindon Woodland

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a grievous bodily harm (GBH) assault on a teenager in Croft Woods, Swindon, which left him requiring surgery for severe lacerations to his face.

The incident occurred on Thursday, 23 May, between 7 pm and 8 pm. The teenager was walking with a friend near the Intel Building on Pipers Way when he was struck on the back of the head and face. The assailant then attacked him again with a glass bottle, resulting in a deep cut to his face.

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent and has been released on bail pending further investigation.

Wiltshire Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the assault or has any information that could assist in their enquiries to come forward.
