Appeal for Witnesses After Arrest Made in Connection with Indecent Act in Folkestone

Kent Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the arrest of a man in connection with an alleged indecent exposure incident in Folkestone.

The incident was reported to have taken place between midday and 12:40pm on Wednesday, 5 March 2025, on Wear Bay Road, where a man was allegedly seen exposing himself and performing an indecent act inside a black-coloured car parked in the area.

Following investigations, a 62-year-old man from Margate was arrested on Friday, 7 March in connection with the offence. He has since been released on bail while further enquiries continue.

Police Appeal for Information and Footage

Kent Police are now urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward to assist with the investigation.

A police spokesperson said:

“We are continuing to investigate this incident and ask anyone who was in the area at the time or has any footage that could assist to contact us as soon as possible.”
